Give to CREES

You can help CREES with your generous support. Many of our activities are enhanced through private donations to the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies. Special events, renowned lecturers, scholarships and study abroad opportunities are just some of the ways your donations can help us to maintain our Center's vibrancy.

A Few Examples of the Generous Support CREES Receives

Dr. and Mrs. Michael Palij are shown here with Mr. Gene Fishel, the 2007 Palij lecturer, and Erik Herron and Alex Tsiovkh. Their donation sponsors the annual Palij lecture, which enhances KU's Ukrainian program.

Mark Willcoxon, Erik Herron and Jack Hope try out the custom-made library table, acquired by a donation from the Bramlage Family. The table has deeply enhanced the Center's library which features the Stammler collection.

Roy and Betty Laird established a fund to recognize one student each year for the best REES essay. The spring 2007 winner was Michelle Tran who is shown here receiving the award from Mrs. Betty Laird.
