Velvet Revolution Party
During the Velvet Revolution Party, Saturday, November 7, CREES invites KU alumni and the community to return to campus for a day to enjoy lectures dealing with the end of Soviet communism in Central Europe, a catered lunch of Central-European-fusion cuisine, and a staged reading of Karel Capek's famous 1921 play, RUR: Rossum's Universal Robots, which takes a look at the world of the future, the world in which we now live.
Registration for the day will be $25.
