Advising

Student advising is generally available in the CREES Office. After classes begin, office hours will be posted, but you may also make appointments as needed. You should to become well-acquainted with your advisor and consult regularly about your academic program as well as further educational and professional goals. Your advisor keeps a record of courses that you have taken toward your degree so that you may track your progress through the program.

You should also make every effort to meet relevant KU faculty and to consult with them about your course of study and plans for the future. Upon request, your advisor will provide KU forms and information about add/drop, course openers, graduation requirements (programmatic, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, University) and other administrative issues. Visit the Graduate School website for other information or contact Ray Finch.
